  • Habitat for Humanity has been a long-standing partner of Amélie’s. Our owner/designer Brenda Ische finds some of her most unique pieces from Habitat ReStores. Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and approximately 70 countries. Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat works toward their vision by building strength, stability, and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing.

  • Crisis Assistance Ministry is a true gem in the city of Charlotte. Crisis Assistance Ministry helps Mecklenburg County families with life’s basic needs: emergency rent and utility assistance, clothing, household goods, furniture, beds, and appliances. Customers experiencing hunger may also receive referrals to local food providers, federal food support programs, and access to an onsite emergency pantry.

  • Sanctuary in the City is a new partner of Amélie’s, in 2020! Sanctuary in the City aspires to provide funding, accessibility to wellness, and education programming to uplift BIPOC. In addition to programs offered by the founders, Sanctuary in the City provides funding to BIPOC wellness educators and entrepreneurs and service providers to offer products and services that further personal and community transformation.
