Introducing Justin Sanders, our March team member spotlight! Justin is a shift supervisor at our Rock Hill bakery and has been with us for over 6 months. He began working at Amélie’s after being inspired to do so by his wife. Justin brings both a fun-loving spirit and an attention to and a focus on the customer experience with him from past restaurant experience which makes him an asset on the team
When asked what his favorite part of about working for Amélie’s, Justin jokingly responded, “Eating the broken macaron cookie scraps.” Most of our team members would definitely agree that is a perk. In all seriousness, Justin enjoys being part of the Amélie’s team.
Why was he selected?
According to Briana Arrowood, general manager of the Rock Hill bakery, Justin joined the team last summer and quickly grew into a management position. She shared why is was selected as their team member spotlight:
“Justin came on board over the summer and has just shown awesome team leadership skills, accountability, and the “whatever you need, whatever it takes” mentality. He also shows dedication to our team and bakery here in Rock Hill. We are happy to have him on board and look forward to seeing how he continues to grow!”
Favorite Menu Item:
Justin loves the large mousse cups because as he puts it, “It is chocolate to the max.”
Outside of the bakery:
He and his wife thoroughly enjoy international travel. And, he is an avid collection of house plants with over 70 different species inside their 2 bedroom apartment.
